The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP, Italy), Yerevan State University and Yerevan Physics Institute will jointly organize a Conference on Recent Progress in Quantum Field Theory and String Theory (smr 2733) , to be held in Yerevan, Armenia, from 14 to 19 September 2015.

The aim of the conference is to bring together active researchers in mathematical physics, string theory and quantum field theory and to facilitate the scientific exchange between researchers working in different areas.

Main topics

  • Conformal field theories in various dimensions
  • Progress in higherspin gauge theories
  • Supersymmetric gauge theories and related integrable systems
  • Geometric aspects of string compactifications, topological strings and mirror symmetry
  • AdS/CFT correspondence and its applications

The conference will be preceded by a workshop "Supersymmetry in Integrable Systems (SIS)" 9-13 September, Yerevan and followed by a school and workshop "Selected Topics in Theoretical High Energy Physics" 21-27 September, Tbilisi, Georgia.
